Mr. Kurapak and Mr. RA of Lovefoodhatewaste
Hello guys... Miss us??? Sorry for the lack of updates as most of you that it's the Hari Raya season.. Well, we know that we're not suppose to neglect the updates of LFHW.. But then again, we were caught up with the Hari Raya fever.
So how has your Hari Raya been? For me, I think most of you know my mood (Rano's) for Hari Raya this year. I've never skipped so many open houses this year and yes, I feel bad from time to time. But it was also a good recovery time for me before everything gets back to normal.
Of course, the best thing about this festive season is the open houses. You don't have to worry about burning your pockets on lunch or dinner outings as you'll be visiting friends and families and enjoying the free meals as well.
In the next few weeks, both Mr. Kurapak and I will come up with strategies to keep this website up and running on a regular basis for the benefit of our readers as well as restaurants/cafes/caterers in Brunei Darussalam. Hopefully with enough man power, we will be able to target other districts as well. So that will be also an interesting angle to ponder upon.
So guys, there's still three weeks left for Hari Raya and do take advantage of open houses to enjoy the warm company and the food :) We shall be back with more updates and promotions soon. Stay tune to LFHW and have a great week ahead..

Hey peeps!!! Firstly, on behalf of LoveFoodHateWaste, I would like to thank you all for your tremendous support and also to the clienteles who have given their trust on our food portal. This may not be the first food blog but we managed to create a good formula to attract more readers as well as advertisers. The number of hits have been amazing. We almost topped 90,000 hits during the Ramadhan period as compared to 32,000 hits last year. So I hope the momentum keeps on going. I know for sure that the hits won't be as great in the Hari Raya period but we will still be updating from time to time. Perhaps we will be posting pictures of "Open Houses" and you guys are more than welcome to share your experience in this website. You can email me at ranoadidas@ gmail.com or syahreen@ gmail.com to share your pictures with us and we will post them accordingly. Two days ago, we had our LFHW photo shoot and we were wearing our customised T-shirts done by Ministry of Press (Great workmanship) from Singapore. And many thanks to Khaliq Jr for taking your time to take our pictures. Below are pictures behind the scenes and we will upload the final shots on LFHW the next few days or so. And Selamat Hari Raya Maaf Zahir Batin, peeps!! :D

Excapade Sushi is probably the most successful local franchise eatery in Brunei Darussalam. Well, to me that is. Why? Because whenever they expand and expand, there is a still a queue during lunch and dinner hours. So I'm proud to say that Excapade Sushi is one of its kind for its successful formula in terms of patronage and repeat customers. Ok, let's cut to the chase... Excapade Sushi will be having a special discount to those who have Excapade Privilege Card (PC) and they can enjoy 15% discount at all their outlets during the Ramadhan Period. You can visit their existing outlets at Gadong, Kiulap (two branches), Serusop (near HSBC) and Kuala Belait. I will be posting the numbers soon for bookings.

RMS Portview Cafe located at the capital and the spot is really perfect untuk kitani meliat boat lintas-lintas di Kampung Ayer, What a scenery mannnn!! Yesterday, I had my sungkai with non-other than my chillhood friend, Boy Carlos of Mashor's Family. The uncooked food for steamboat was so fresh that even at the end of the meal, the soup was still grime-free (no oil etc floating). They served us scallops, squid paste, crabs, beef, fish balls, noodles, egg and so for only $19.90 a person and its refillable. Very reasonable for the amount and quality of food.
Buffet $19.90 (refillable)
